Bible Verses on Giving. . .

2 Cor. 9:7   Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

 

Phil. 4:18   I have received full payment and even more; I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.

 

Mark 12:42   But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny.

 

Mark 12:43   Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others.

 

Luke 21:4   All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.

 

Mark 9:41   I tell you the truth, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward.

 

Luke 6:38   Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

 

Luke 12:33   Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.
