GIFTS OF THANKS
Gen. 8:19-21 All the animals and all the creatures that move along the ground and all the birds—everything that moves on the earth—came out of the ark, one kind after another. Then Noah built an altar to the LORD and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it. The LORD smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: “Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.
1Chr. 16:29 ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name. Bring an offering and come before him;
worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.
1Chr. 16:34 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Ps. 96:8 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering and come into his courts.
Ps. 107:22 Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy.
Jonah 2:9 But I, with a song of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. Salvation comes from the LORD.”
Matt. 8:3-4 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cured of his leprosy. Then Jesus said to him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
Eph. 5:19-20 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord. …always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Ths. 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
