Running with Purpose

I will again run for a Baltimore charity this year, on October 15th as I run for PLAN (the Pen Lucy Action Network) in the Baltimore Running Festival Half Marathon. PLAN is devoted to empowering underserved residents of the economically challenged Pen Lucy community. They have a Learning Center that offers tutoring to struggling students, and a sports league that offers recreational opportunities to youth that otherwise, lack extracurricular activities.

Some of our program participants gave us tips on running… Check this out at the PLAN website: If you wish to support the effort, under the FUNd Run tab, click on support a runner.

(Heb 12:1 NIV)  Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

great purpose for running! I just read your post…I am a runner too. I live in South America, Peru. I was wondering, how did you find PLAN? Do you know how can I find an organization similar to PLAN here in Peru? I have no idea how to look for it!!!
    God bless!!
