Feature Accountability in Donor Communications

Feature accountability

Perhaps once a year, make the ministry’s accountability a more-prominent-than-usual feature in a newsletter, focusing on membership in the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) or some other organization which will enhance the ministry’s credibility with the donor.

Make financial statements available to donors on request — and say so clearly.

Use graphs — in the annual report, and perhaps in a newsletter a couple times a year — to show where the ministry’s revenues are being spent.
