Tell Donors What Specific Amounts Will Provide

Why this amount?

We suggest that when asking for money, the ministry make a compelling case for the specific amount needed. The more information you make available on this score, the better. Every detail does not need to be included in the text of the appeal itself, but details can be charted out on the back of the response form or in a separate insert. It’s crucial for the donor to see that the goal is specific and serious, and to feel confident that the organization is not artificially inflating the figures.
