Words of Wisdom from Women

Words of Wisdom from the Women of Bridgeway
My daughters, listen to the proven wisdom of older women.
Open your ears to truth and focus your thoughts on its meaning
Seek it out as if your life depends on it, and never sell it short
Pursue it, it will be your most valuable possession
Practice them and you will live
Then you will have access to God’s endless wisdom, it is his gift to you
Take ahold of what is true, balanced and honest and you will not lose your way
Remember the decisions you make today will ultimately reflect in your life tomorrow
Adorn yourself with the inner beauty, it will be seen on the outside
You don’t want to turn a man’s head, you want to turn his heart
Know your worth, you were purchased and redeemed at a very high cost of the blood of
Jesus Christ
You are a precious jewel
You are worth more than silver and gold
You are never to be trampled on
Stand firm. Guard your body, mind and heart as you would the greatest of treasures
To honor your treasure is to honor God
If you don’t honor it how can you discern who is worthy to give
this treasure to?
Don’t wear you heart on your sleeve; be careful who you show it to
It is not worth much to a heartless lover
Keep your body to yourself and do not tempt by provocative dress, actions or words
You have a voice and it is powerful, use it wisely
But never to complain, especially about what you’ve allowed
Be a blessing to others
Why do you think God will send you a man
When you accept every man Satan sends your way?
Do not allow every and any man that crosses your path to enter your life!
Satan will use that to destroy you.
They will even ignore the vows they made to God Himself
Stay away from a man with wandering eyes and a flattering tongue
a home with such a man will never be a place of solace for you
but a place of burdens day and night
and he will lead you to normalize hypocrisy in your own heart
They do not keep their promises
Judge a man by his actions and not by his words – talk is cheap,
but actions should speak louder to you

Wait on the Lord
Do not panic, do not be hasty
For God creates the time
God see you and hears you
Let God fill your empty spaces
Love the Lord with all your heart, body and soul
Look for God in all things, in all situations
Cling to God’s truth as for dear life
The Holy Spirit will speak to you
Fall to your knees and ask him to order your steps
Learn to discern his voice and obey it
It is only through prayer that you will have
the wisdom to rebuke temptation
