Cheerful Giving

There is joy in giving…

2 Cor. 9:7 “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Why should you ask donors to give to your ministry? Simply, as well as being a command from the Lord to give, it feels good to give! In 1 Chronicles 29:16-19, we see the flow of joyful giving. God honors us when we give. This isn’t just an intellectual benefit. It feels good. It generates joy! It was David’s pleasure to know that God was pleased with what he had done in His name. Inspiring others to give brings joy into the lives of donors.
